Owl Pellets
December 2023
The 6th grade ELA classes will be reading the novel, Hoot, which revolves around endangered owls. We would like to dissect owl pellets as an enrichment activity to supplement the novel. This hands-on activity will allow the children to explore what owls eat, and allow them to infer what habitat owl’s need and what struggles they face in today's society.

Anastasia the Musical
February 2024
We have chosen Anastasia the Musical as our spring musical. This is a production that we have wanted to do for several years, but we have not chosen it due to its difficult/costly production needs. The reason why I believe this is a worthwhile production for our students is because it is a more traditional musical/unlike the productions we have put on in many years. The music, vocals, choreography is more advanced and classical than my students have gotten to experience and I believe it is very important for them to experience as many different kinds of theatre as possible during their time in school.
